As a security officer, you are responsible for safeguarding goods and people at our clients’ sites. You are vigilant, highly observant, and able to anticipate incidents or risks before they occur. Every day, you make well-considered decisions and ensure impeccable service to our clients and their visitors.
Your role

For a prestigious insurance institution in the center of Brussels, we are looking for a security officer with a mature and leadership-oriented mindset. In this role, you will combine operational security tasks with a coordinating function within the team.
Your responsibilities
As a security officer with leadership responsibilities, you are the first point of contact for safety and operational follow-up on site:
- Professional CCTV monitoring and active surveillance;
- Access control and security follow-up;
- Welcoming visitors, employees, and external partners;
- Coordination and support of the on-site security team;
- Quick and accurate response to incidents or alarms;
- Organizational follow-up of security procedures.
Who are we looking for?
- You hold a general competency certificate as a security guard;
- You have experience in security, reception, or safety-related assignments;
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and leadership skills;
- You are comfortable working with PC systems and security applications;
- You have an excellent command of Dutch and French;
- You are flexible and willing to work in a 24/7 shift system;
- You remain calm, professional, and decisive, even in stressful situations.
