Job Description

At SERIS, we are committed every day to protecting your organization. As a leading guarding and security partner, we seamlessly integrate the latest technologies with our highly trained professionals. This allows us to deliver innovative and reliable solutions tailored to your needs, so you can fully focus on your core activities.

Your role

Through SERIS’s certified alarm monitoring center, we respond 24/7 to alerts concerning your building(s), site(s), or assets. Thanks to smart technologies, incidents, emergency scenarios, facilities, suspicious activities, or anomalies are detected immediately, enabling rapid intervention.

You continuously analyze incoming alarm situations, quickly assess them, and take appropriate action. You must be able to switch rapidly between multiple applications depending on the alarm situation, set priorities, and respond effectively—even during busy or stressful periods.

This is a role that requires logical and analytical thinking, quick and accurate decision-making, and continuous communication with stakeholders (contacts, installation companies, security firms, intervention services, emergency services, and control centers).

Your responsibilities:
  • Analyze alarm situations in a structured way, take action, and follow up;
  • Quickly switch between emergency situations and take appropriate action;
  • Communicate clearly and directly with stakeholders;
  • Perform real-time reporting within the alarm center platform;
  • Switch between multiple applications depending on the alarm situation and available resources at the site;
  • Make accurate and well-founded decisions to bring incidents under control under high pressure and within legally required response times.

Who are we looking for?

  • You are able to work in a focused, structured, and concentrated manner;
  • You think logically and analytically, can quickly assess situations correctly, and take the necessary actions according to protocols and client-specific requirements;
  • You can switch quickly and efficiently between multiple situations and stakeholders, acting as the nerve center in crisis situations without losing oversight;
  • You follow procedures accurately and rely on innovative tools to help you perform your tasks;
  • You communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally over the phone and remain in control of the situation;
  • You have the right attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, team spirit, and maturity;
  • You are bilingual (Dutch/French), and English is a plus;
  • You hold a driving license and have your own vehicle;
  • You are comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 environment;
  • You are willing to perform work that involves intensive phone communication over 12-hour shifts in a busy and high-pressure environment.

What do we offer?

  • Work schedule: 12-hour shifts;
  • Attractive salary: Salary in accordance with Joint Committee 317 – category OP3
    (€3,306.54 – €3,749.35 gross/month);
  • Challenge and variety: No two days are the same in this diverse role;
  • Job security: A permanent contract with a stable and growing employer;
  • Development opportunities: Training and courses (such as port security and breathing protection) to further expand your knowledge and skills;
  • A modern, state-of-the-art alarm monitoring center;
  • Autonomy: The opportunity to work independently and develop yourself.
